Go Green with LATYS
Montreal, QC, Canada
LATYS Intelligence Inc. has received funding from SDTC to accelerate the development of LATYS Autonomous Intelligent Repeater (AIR). The SDTC seed grant will give LATYS the ability to bring a more sustainable solution to the market. LATYS AIR will improve connectivity using less hardware and less energy, while keeping the network scalable and cost effective.
LATYS directs RF energy where it's needed instead of scattering it, resulting in 8x less power consumption compared to leading market solutions. The LATYS solution requires less hardware to run an effective wireless network – 8x smaller footprint than leading market solutions – reducing e-waste. With less hardware & power consumption, LATYS can provide better-quality wireless connectivity with a lower total cost of ownership for network providers, operators, and users.
“As Internet of Things (IoT) becomes more pervasive in our daily lives, the need for better wireless communications infrastructure is becoming increasingly important,” said Leah Lawrence President & CEO of SDTC. “SDTC is proud to support LATYS as they work to create systems that will enable better connectivity in an energy efficient way.”
