McGill MBA students join LATYS for semester-long internship
LATYS is collaborating with final year McGill University MBA students at the Desautels Faculty of Management to support our business development efforts over the next few months. The multidisciplinary team is putting all they’ve learnt during their MBA program and in their extensive careers to use as they immerse themselves in the world of deep tech with the LATYS team.
MEET OUR MBA INTERNS
Ziqi is a McGill MBA candidate who has both worked for Fortune 500 clients as a Consulting Analyst and led soldiers in the Canadian Army as an Armour Officer. He has experience in a diverse range of industries, including energy, retail, defense, and game entertainment. While completing his MBA degree, he is concurrently serving in the army on a part-time basis.
Josh, an MBA candidate pursuing a dual concentration in Global Strategy & Leadership and Business Analytics at McGill University, holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering. He has 2+ years of consulting experience at McKinsey & Company and has also worked in consulting-related areas at IBM and Bell Canada.
Sajjita is from India and is currently living in Montreal while pursuing her MBA at McGill University. She has four years of work experience in technology consulting at Deloitte and has worked with Fortune 500 clients. Over the past winter, she has worked at Nakisa, a small but fast growing company in the cloud technology space, as a project manager. In the summer she worked at Bombardier, as a business analyst and worked with a lot of real-time data to build predictive models during the pandemic era. Sajjita is a strong team player and loves to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds. Her new found passion is High Intensity Interval Training workouts and she really enjoyed her outdoor cycling sessions in and around Montreal during the summer.
Jaiveer is a second-year MBA student at McGill University, specializing in finance. He holds a master's degree in Economics from Durham University and has passed his CFA Level 3 exam. Having started his career at a startup before moving to investment banking, Jaiveer is passionate about helping companies scale efficiently by making the best use of their financial and operational resources.
Omar is a graduate student at the Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) at McGill University. Omar finished his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the American University of Beirut (AUB) with an emphasis in marketing research. He has worked on various marketing research projects in the areas of technology and healthcare, consumer goods, and entertainment. He is looking forward to working with LATYS team and to applying his market research and data analytics skills across the 5G and IoT industries.
